Story Behind The Song
The phrase "Meet Me in Madison" came from a conversation between my producer, Paul Schluter and I while mixing "Breathe in Girl". Paul looked at me and said, "You better write that down. That is a song lyric." The phrase went into my notebook app in my phone. The verses of the song is an email exchange between a former colleague. It's true when they say to never make a songwriter mad.

Lyrics
My words keep twisting with all you say
The lines we drew are blurred
Let's just erase
You think you're versatile
Ha! I'll call your bluff
I see you shivering
Enough is enough
You said, Life is Hard...
Meet me in Madison
When one door closes I'll find a way
I'll push right through the pain
I have all to gain
You say I'm just a wreck
Ha! I'll prove you wrong
You think you sacrificed
For this new song
You said, Life is Hard...
Meet me in Madison
