Story Behind The Song

This song was originally called 2018 and referred to in the studio as "kick drum". The melody was a thought I had on the first day home after I left my job to pursue my music. I was cutting the grass and had the melody of the verses stuck in my head. I ran off the lawn mower to fetch my phone to record the bit. This song represents the past two years of my life. I have been in a constant state of problem solving and have tackled many obstacles to continue to work towards my goals. This is my take back my power type of song. It is all about looking at situations to realize that you are going through these things to make you stronger in the end.
