Story Behind The Song
Sweatpants and Wine was the last song to added to the album and The original write of this song dates back to 2013. The guitar melody was in my head for a year waiting for the right lyrics. The original song was intended to be for a girl's night vibe and shredding the heels and the makeup for a girl's night in. While waiting for an appointment, I opened an old notebook and stumbled upon the page of sweatpants and wine. Within 15 minutes, I re-wrote the song. The next day I was in the studio recording scratch recordings for the album and played it for my producer. As soon as I finished playing, he looked at me and said, "You just wrote you next single." "Sweatpants and Wine was the second single released.

Lyrics
It's Friday night in this river town
Punching out of this 9-5
Time to throw my worries away
Let's skip the bars, let's go home
Put my favorite record on
Time to get wild our own way
Sippin' Mississippi Red and Elle King playing
You Standing there next to me
Lock the doors, let's close the blinds
Turn off the phone, turn off the lights
Just you and me tonight
Been waitin' all week for sweatpants and wine
Don't get me wrong, I love the night scene
As long as you're next to me
Tonight, I want to let my hair down
People calling us up like where you at
We don't have time for that
We've got more important plans
Sippin' Mississippi Red and Elle King playing
You standing there next to me
Lock the doors, let's close the blinds
Turn off the phone, turn off the lights, Just you and me tonight
Been waitin' all week for sweatpants and wine
